Since 1998, Training Synergy has been providing high-quality, focused training solutions to both the public and private sectors.

When Training Synergy was founded in 1998, it was with the realisation that the training industry itself needed to change if it was to meet the continued needs of its clients.

The increased pace of change of technology and the need to reduce costs meant that generic training courses were no longer a relevant training solution. Organisations needed a complete training service to help them rationalise their supply chain – and a service that was more closely tailored to their needs to help them gain the maximum benefit from training.

Unencumbered by legacy infrastructure and outdated business models, Training Synergy was free to be the training company that organisations were waiting for.

Working with leading corporate clients and the UK’s top outsourcing providers, Training Synergy developed a fast-growing business which utilised a massive nationwide resource of associate trainers and on-demand training infrastructure, coordinated by a lean central logistics and management team. This gave clients the best of both worlds from one supplier: a scalable service at keenly competitive rates, from a supplier with access to the resources to manage the largest of training programmes, with minimal ongoing overheads.

Our approach was an instant success – fuelling the steady growth which led us to where we are today: one of the leading training solutions providers in the UK (number 15 by turnover, in independent research by IT Skills Research).

In 2001, we added to our portfolio a focus on training for public sector organisations, such as local government, health trusts, defence organisations and social housing providers. This aspect of our business has also flourished, and today we provide extensive training services to many local authorities in England, and either directly or supporting our clients training programmes, to every NHS trust and every MOD facility.

Just as ‘synergy’ is part of our name, so it is part of our nature. Whether we’re providing training direct to a corporate client, or via an outsourcing organisation, we always believe that there is a real need to work together – each partner giving and getting the best – because only by working closely will training meet the goals of the business and be a success.
