Daniel Hanlon joined The Synergy Group in February 1998 to help establish the training division. Daniel entered the IT industry in 1993, working for specialist logistical companies for five years before joining The Synergy Group. Over the next six years Daniel co-developed the strategy for moving Synergy’s training division from a small enterprise to the UK’s 15th largest IT training provider.

David Field joined The Synergy Group in 1998 with Daniel Hanlon to establish the training division. After graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in business administration in 1996, David specialised in IT services for the public sector. In 1998 David joined Synergy as a senior consultant and rapidly rose to the role of director. Over the next six years David co-developed the strategy for moving the training division from a small enterprise to the UK’s 15th largest IT training provider.
Jane McCarthy

Jane McCarthy has worked with Training Synergy as a Training Project Manager since October 2005 and is able to capitalise on over 10 years of experience as a trainer, courseware developer, project manager, e-learning developer and training consultant. Prior to this she worked for IBM’s training division where she was responsible for the development and delivery of training solutions to support technology rollouts for end users. Working with customers across various industries on a wide range of engagements, Jane was responsible for managing all phases of training projects, including assessment, design, communication, development, delivery, support and evaluation, using a variety of delivery mechanisms such as instructor-led, e-learning and post implementation support.
Neila Gahan

As a Training Project Manager, Neila Gahan brings more than 8 years’ experience to Training Synergy as the training service delivery manager with Atos Origin. Prior to joining Atos Origin, Neila established her aptitude for project management and team leadership over several years in IT analysis and marketing & communications roles within Sema Group and the former BR Business Systems (BRBS). At Atos Origin, Neila managed numerous key training programmes for both public and private sector clients. Her achievements include the delivery of two case information database training projects to 14,000 staff within the Immigration and Nationalities Department of the Home Office and the management of the successful Choose and Book training programmes to GP’s, clinical and administrative personnel throughout three NHS Clusters in England.
Kirsten Poulter

Since February 2006, Kirsten Poulter has been a Training Project Manager with Training Synergy and brings more than 7 years’ experience as a trainer, courseware developer, project manager, and training consultant. Kirsten joined Training Synergy from Atos Origin, where she worked with both private and public sector clients, providing change management support and advice. Kirsten’s responsibilities included leading a performance improvement workstream, developing client’s communication strategies and plans, facilitating and mentoring staff, and developing clients training programmes. Her achievements to date include the recent completion of a 10,000-user training programme with a well known high-street bank, and the design, development and implementation of a change-management toolkit to some 500 client staff worldwide.
