I would like to thank everyone at Training Synergy for the successful recruitment and introduction training of 5 Kickstart candidates for the Housing Benefit Department at the Unity Partnership, Oldham.
The Kickstart programme has proved to be a successful way of recruiting Housing Benefit Processing staff.
The Synergy Kickstart Team discussed and listened to our requirements and quickly recruited candidates and provided 6 days of intensive training on Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit legislation.
The 5 successful candidates were selected and went on to receive training from the Housing Benefit Training Team in the use of various computer applications related to processing claims. They were trained to put the knowledge they had gained from the Synergy Kickstart Training into practice using specific processing procedures.
All 5 have undergone training and are currently working full-time on the Housing Benefit Processing Team.
The Synergy Kickstart Team have been very supportive and have visited Oldham and been in regular contact to ensure that the 5 successful candidates are progressing as expected.
This has been a very successful way of recruiting new staff and we are very pleased with the whole process.
