Microsoft Office

Microsoft Office is the productivity suite at the heart of most organisations. Getting the most from this powerful suite requires training – which is where Training Synergy can help.

Training Synergy provides training programmes on all Microsoft Office applications. Our approach is bespoke – we believe that standard ‘off the shelf’ training courses waste time and money, forcing people to learn topics which are outside of their requirements.

Working with customers, we determine how Microsoft Office is used within an organisation, and develop a highly targeted training programme to exactly meet those needs. This means that:

  • training time is reduced.
  • training is far more focused.
  • people only learn what they need to know.
  • training is more cost-effective.

We provide training on:

  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft InfoPath
  • Microsoft OneNote
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Visio
  • Microsoft Word

Training can be provided on individual products, selected groups of products, or the entire Office suite. We can provide training using a variety (or integrated mix) of media, including classroom training, e-learning, lectures and workshops. We can provide training anywhere in the UK – and can deliver any size of training programme, including large-scale roll-outs.

There are typically three levels of Microsoft Office: introduction, intermediate and advanced.  Alternatively we can tailor the training course to your business requirements by highlighting the key areas that you would like to cover in order to decrease the delegates’ skills gap. As an example, we could develop a course to focus on macros or mail merge. We can also incorporate business processes specific to your company and include other IT applications that you use.

For organisations moving from one suite to another, or upgrading to the latest version of a suite, we can provided ‘upgrade training’ – covering just the new features of the new version, enabling people to adapt quickly and cost effectively, rather than attending an unnecessary ‘full’ training course.
