Abandonment and illegal occupancy
This course aims to give delegates an understanding of the issues surrounding illegal occupation and abandonment of property through group work, discussion, exercises and by looking at recent case law.
Learning outcome:
Each delegate will have a better understanding of the various issues surrounding illegal occupation and abandonment e.g. subletting, unauthorised occupants, illegal assignments and squatters. Delegates will be better equipped to deal with abandonment cases, will have a greater understanding of health and safety issues and the law.
