Kickstart in Chelmsford
Last week saw another successful Kickstart programme for NACRO in Chelmsford, with more to come in the Essex area.
The aim of the programme is to attract trainee project workers from the local community, to work with young people who are ex-offenders, at risk of offending or who have been excluded from school.
“We find the people, assess them and train them and basically provide an invaluable resource for NACRO from the local community and an opportunity for the trainees to engage in a meaningful career in a rapidly growing and successful sector” says Siva Singh the programme lead.
