NACRO Kickstarts the economy
In the face of economic doom and gloom and lengthening queues of jobless people (never mind pandemics!), we bring some good news.
Last month saw NACRO – The Crime Reduction Charity, take on a further 45 permanent members of staff through Training Synergy’s Kickstart programme. After a 6 month training programme NACRO was delighted to welcome each new recruit to its ranks. Each candidate had demonstrated a willingness to learn and above all a commitment to the organisation’s projects.
Kent saw the biggest uptake of staff with 35 joining the ranks, while there were 10 new starters in London. Kickstart takes the headache out of recruitment for many organisations, as well as giving whole groups of people the opportunity to learn new skills and develop fulfilling careers, “That’s got to be good for NACRO and the local communities that the project supports” said NACRO project manager Lesley Game.
