Microsoft recognises TPMA as part of its Certified Trainer accreditation

Training Synergy’s TPMA programme is boosted by Microsoft’s acceptance of the IITT/BCS ICTP Certificate.

Training Synergy’s TPMA programme had a boost recently when Microsoft agreed to accept the joint IITT/BCS ICTP Certificate – gained through a live assessment of a trainer’s delivery skills as part of the TPMA service – towards the Microsoft Certified Trainer certification.

As part of the programme trainers are assessed using nine key criteria, from preparation to evaluation, which now means the ICTP certificate satisfies the MCT requirement to ‘Demonstrate instructional presentation skills’. “In challenging market conditions quality trainers need to stand out from the crowd” said Training Synergy’s TPMA centre manager Jane McCarthy. “With this recognition from Microsoft, all holders of the ICTP certificate have even more opportunities for professional development and accreditation.”

Jane has seen a steadily growing demand for the qualification and puts this down to an increased insistence from clients running large training projects for accredited trainers. “Quality benchmarking has become the norm when selecting trainers and TPMA is just that” she says.

To obtain the MCT certification, trainers will need to additionally hold one or more related certifications in order to teach a Microsoft Learning or Microsoft Dynamics course. For more information contact the TPMA team at Training Synergy or call us on 0800 072 5900.
