Synergy Trainer Accreditation for Projects
Training Synergy’s STA Project training programme has been developed to provide people with the skills needed to ensure the highest quality of training delivery on training projects.
This is achieved by providing a consistent base level of ability for trainers and covering other areas of a training project which can affect overall quality.
STA Project has been endorsed by the British Computer Society as evidence towards the Society’s Accredited Certificate for Tutors and Trainers. This means that STA Project helps people towards a professional qualification with an industry-recognised set of skills.
Through STA Project, people are able to scrutinise their own training skills by revisiting core fundamentals as well as learning about new concepts and techniques. The five-day STA Project course provides an effective means of refreshing delegates’ training skills by concentrating on areas such as:
- identifying examples of learning styles – and some rules of thumb for memory and recall – and explaining their implications for effective instruction.
- critically assessing IT training materials – and then developing a lesson plan based on those materials.
- delivering effective lectures using these materials.
- giving effective demonstrations.
- managing individual and group exercises.
- managing common classroom and delegate problems.
- using a standard model to monitor instruction techniques and continuously improve on them.
- performing common classroom administration procedures, including establishing class ‘rules’ – and recognising health and safety considerations.
