About this course:
Between October 2010 and spring 2014, Incapacity Benefit, Income Support (paid on the grounds of incapacity) and Severe Disablement Allowance are gradually being phased out. As a result, customers who are still getting these benefits are having their claims reviewed to see if they are eligible for ESA. It is important that benefit officers in LA’s are aware of this conversion process and the impact it will have on HB/CTB claims. For this reason, Training Synergy has developed a course that deals with this area and also provides a recap of the basic ESA eligibility, claim and award rules.
