This course is an introduction to social housing for new staff, it gives an introduction into housing management, focusing on Homelessness Legislation, Housing Options, Tenure Agreements, Housing Law, Repairs and Maintenance, Estate Management.
This 5 day work shop is a highly practical course, and will give staff and new starters in Housing a taster of Housing Management, Housing Law, policies and procedures and will look at good practice guides and how this impacts on the work that they are doing.
Who should attend
This course is suitable for all employees who work in a housing environment and especially for new starters, as it will give them an introduction to what Housing Management is. Housing Officers, Estate Managers, Housing Information Officers, trainee Housing Management Staff.
