TPMA Kickstart
Training Synergy – leading the way in training quality standards with the new TPMA service.
Designed for new trainers or those wishing to refresh their skills, delegates are able to scrutinise their own training skills by revisiting core fundamentals as well as learning about new concepts and techniques. The four-day course provides an effective means of covering the nine core competencies of TPMA by concentrating on areas such as:
- Preparation for a session
- Management of the learning environment
- Effective communication
- Effective facilitation
- Effective questioning
- Establishment and maintenance of credibility
- Appropriate use of instructional methods
- Effective management of practical sessions
- Learning development assessment
Throughout the course there is a strong emphasis on effective training delivery within a typical project environment – and the effect that good quality training can have on the overall success, health and morale of a project.
The course will be conducted by authorised TMPA assessors who will provide continuous assessment and feedback using the clearly documented TPMA criteria. During the course every delegate will have an opportunity to accumulate and demonstrate the TPMA competencies by presenting up to four teach sessions. The instructors will hold regular individual reviews to help the delegates identify which competencies they need to demonstrate and plan appropriate teach sessions.
Successful completion of the TPMA assessment on day 4 will lead to award of the IITT’s ICTP certificate (Institute Certified Training Practitioner).
Price £995 per delegate (excluding VAT). Maximum 6 delegates.
